Approved ECCC Budget 2010-2011

The approved budget for the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) for 2010 and 2011 has been released and is now available on the ECCC website.

The approved budget for 2010-2011 amounts to US$ 87.1 million in total, of which US$ 42.9 million for 2010 and US$ 44.2 million for 2011. The international component of the ECCC accounts for US$ 65.4 million, of which US$ 32.2 million for 2010 and US$ 33.2 million for 2011. The national component accounts for US$ 21.7 million, of which US$ 10.7 million for 2010 and US$ 11 million for 2011. All figures are exclusive contingency.

The donor countries endorsed the final version of the budget early last week, and it contains only minor changes from the original budget request presented to the Steering Committee of UNAKRT and the Group of Interested States to the ECCC in December 2009.
